This species is observed all over Japan. However, this species is not well studied. This species was described by Bonelli, however, often misundertaken that this species was described by Borelli or Gene.
Anisolabis maritima on Ishigaki-jima island, southwestern part of Ryukyu islands
Anisolabis maritima at coral beach in Ishigaki-jima island is redish and pale in head and thorax.
