Family Spongiphoridae [Japanese family name = Muro-Hasami-Mushi Ka (Chibi-Hasami-Mushi Ka)]
This species is moved from Paralabella to Metalabella, since Paralabella is a synonym of Euborellia (Sakai and Takahashi, 1998).
Distribution
Japan: Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Bonin Islands, Ryukyu Islands; Anoher countries: Paraearctic region, China, Taiwan, Oriental Region, Cosmopolitan
Habitat
This species is often found under the bark of dead trees.
